The Woodchuck (formally known as Dr. Charles “Chuck” Wood) is a retired pastor and educator who continues to be active in ministry after more than fifty years.  Located near South Bend, IN, he is a conservative evangelical with Baptistic leanings.  As a widower, he met Loraine (Larson) nearly eighteen years ago, and they were married after a lengthy courtship of thirteen weeks. Their combined families number forty-seven and are all very important to them.  Usually non-confrontational, he is known as a contrarian – someone who often sees things a bit differently from others and even – at times - offers a viewpoint different from conventional thinking. Loraine handles the technical side of things and tries to keep the Woodchuck in check.  The content of this blog is strictly the responsibility of the Woodchuck and represents no other institution or individual.
